Listening to understand Reflecting to deepen
Oftentimes, finding a moment to figure out how you are feeling, what you are thinking, and what to do next seems like an impossible feat.
Then, add finding the time to process the life and world events that keep ticking away.
I chose to become a therapist in order to hold that time and space for people and provide safe, competent, and compassionate service.
To start, my name is Gabrielle and I use she/her pronouns. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Indiana and have a decade of practice experience. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders and have worked with ages 5 through 80 and with folk from a variety of backgrounds.
I am a safe and affirming provider and adhere to ethical standards of the Social Work profession.
My practice is founded in trauma theory, cognitive behavioral theory, empowerment and systems theories, mindfulness, and somatic-based practices. I have a reflective and non-directive style.
I encourage you to reach out to me to see if we'd be a good fit. You deserve the time to breathe and reflect with the assistance of a therapist who is safe, validating, and knowledgeable. You deserve to be heard and understood.
